January 2023 header
Hello, friends! It's hard to believe another year has gone by but here we are celebrating Christmas once again.

I am sending this letter out early since everyone will be busy over the next couple of weekends. :) I have something for each of you for the new year and will send out another email in a couple of weeks, so keep an eye out.

This weekend I am going to watch my daughter walk across a stage to receive her college diploma. It's something she has wanted and has worked hard for, and I find myself misty-eyed at her accomplishment. When I began homeschooling her in first grade, I questioned whether we could get here. :) But God has been so good to provide and open doors. It's a weird season watching my kids creating their own lives. It's a mix of learning to keep my mouth shut, my ears listening, and my doors always open. :) Oh, and extra bottles of laundry soap! lol

I'm ending the year with a personal story that was included in Everyday Joy, a devotional put out by The Joyful Life Magazine. Other than the book, this will be the only place my article can be viewed, and I hope my vulnerability in sharing my own weaknesses, helps some of you lay down your frustrations to walk in love too! That's my heart for continuing this writing ministry -- to encourage one another to hold tight to hope, persevere in faith, and live in godly character.

I would love to hear back from you! Sometimes I feel like I am sending words into the void, wondering if this matters. I also just love interacting and becoming friends with my readers. I 'm honored to pray over any requests.

I pray that each of you will find joy in celebrating the birth of Christ and the grace of a new year. We have so much to praise God for, don't we? Merry Christmas!

n Christ,
Terri

Last non-fiction book of the year!

A Curious Faith
This book helps us understand how to wrestle with our questions before and with God. Having a curious, questioning faith can lead to a strengthened, tested faith. It looks at the questions of the Bible and how they lead us to the ultimate answer, God Himself.

A prayer for you:

"May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us;
establish the work of our hands for us—
yes, establish the work of our hands."
Psalm 90:17

If you need prayer, please send me a message, and I will be more than happy to intercede on your behalf. If you would like to help support my ministry and purchase a beautiful resource for guided prayer, visit this link.
